MOM-Accredited Work-At-Height Course for Supervisors

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has accredited the first "Work-At-Height Course for Supervisors" to provide supervisors with the requisite Work At Height knowledge to supervise and manage work at height activities so that they are carried out properly and safely.

With effect from 15 Jul 2010, Asretec has been assessed as a Competent Organisation to deliver the "Work-At-Height Course for Supervisors" complying with the Curriculum Development Advice (CDA) Version 1.0 issued by WSHC and MOM.

New Tower Mockup for Tower Climbing Courses

A new addition to our training facility is a 12m telecoms tower mockup. Clients can now enjoy our Tower Climbing courses out of the sun and rain, and concentrate on learning the techniques and concepts of safe working at height on towers.

KAJIMA commences Work At Height Training with Asretec

Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) embarks on a training programme with Asretec to equip their staff with up-to-date knowledge and practical techniques for safely working at height.

Kajima paves the way with "Fall Protection for Managers & Supervisors" to prepare their staff to implement Fall Protection Plans for their worksites.

The National Work At Height Safety Task Force targets implementation of Fall Protection Plans in all construction worksites and shipyards by 2012 and at all workplaces by 2015.

Asretec presents on Fall Protection Plans in Work at Height Safety Seminar

The Access and Scaffold Industry Association (ASIA), supported by WSH Council and Ministry of Manpower, organized a “Work At Height Safety” seminar cum h ASIA Seminar 8 Apr 2010 ands-on workshop to raise awareness about the Fall Protection Plan amongst the scaffolding and construction industry, and the general public.

ASRETEC presented on how to prepare a realistic and implementable Fall Protection Plan as well as sponsored a live fall demonstration involving a dummy, and set up for delegates to experience first-hand how it feels like to be suspended from a safety harness
