A complementary course to our Rope Access Operator Course and in-line with BS7985: 2002. Intended for candidates who already have experience of rope access but would like to move on to supervise sites of a specified type. It addresses the supervisory aspects of rope access work and permits a rope access team to work to an appropriate safe system of work. Each delegate will be expected to complete a method statement and risk assessment as homework during the course.
This level of expertise (or IRATA L3) should be a requirement for any company wishing to supervise rope access operations in house.

Pre-course requirements
To have completed either the Rope Access Operator course or other appropriate level of rope access training course and have gained on-site or working rope access experience.Candidates must also have 1000 hours experience over 1 year documented prior experience in an appropriate work environment. Reasonable medical fitness is required.
Certification
Valid for three years on successful completion.
Practical and written test. All assessments are carried out by a person other than the trainer.
