The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has accredited the first "Work-At-Height Course for Supervisors" to provide supervisors with the requisite Work At Height knowledge to supervise and manage work at height activities so that they are carried out properly and safely.

Scope
At the end of the course, participants shall be able to:
- Identify the various Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislation / codes of practice / approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH
- Conduct risk assessment on safety & health hazards and implement preventive measures related to working at height
- Identify, use and care for the various fall arrest systems and equipment
- Develop and implement a Fall Protection Plan
Course Duration
Minimum of 16.5 hours including 1.5 hours of assessment

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is this course mandatory?
WSHC targets all construction sites and shipyards to implement a Fall Protection Plan according to CP1 Code of Practice on Working Safely at Height by 2012. CP1 requires a Fall Protection Plan to be developed and implemented by Competent Persons and this course is the MOM accredited training for this Competent Person.
Is this course available in other languages besides English?
Yes, Asretec can deliver this course in Mandarin starting in September. Contact us for course dates. However, it is implicitly expected that the Fall Protection Plan will be developed and written in English.
