The Access and Scaffold Industry Association (ASIA), supported by WSH Council and Ministry of Manpower, organized a “Work At Height Safety” seminar cum h
ands-on workshop to raise awareness about the Fall Protection Plan amongst the scaffolding and construction industry, and the general public.
ASRETEC presented on how to prepare a realistic and implementable Fall Protection Plan as well as sponsored a live fall demonstration involving a dummy, and set up for delegates to experience first-hand how it feels like to be suspended from a safety harness
Senior Assistant Director (Operations) from the Ministry of Manpower, Mr Sarjit Singh, also presented the concepts, relevant regulations and standards pertaining to Work At Height Safety.
